They do have a good collection of songs, I wouldn't go as far as calling them the best band ever...

I disagree that Slipknot are an acquired taste, that implies that if i listen to them a lot, i will come to like them. But no matter how much i listen to the grunts and screams of the so called 'music' created by this band, i continually feel the urge to reach for the nearest heavy object and bludgeon either the music player or my head until the sounds i hear become tuneful and relaxing.

All that said, i respect the view of the people who are fans of Slipknot just as i would like those people to respect my musical taste. Just because i don't think they're very good doesn't mean that they are crap, it just means they're not my cup of tea(so to speak).
